André Kursim started outing competing in karts before taking in some VLN racing in his native Germany in 2013.
From 2014 onwards André has tackled the FIA ETRC where he has made solid progress in becoming one to watch as he builds his career at the highest level of this discipline of motorsport.
2017 was a breakthrough season for the 27-year-old, who scored two race wins at Zolder and proved that he can be a force to be reckoned with. Kursim finished ninth overall but lost out to José Rodrigues in the Promoter's Cup, with engine failure at Most playing a significant role in the final outcome of the new for 2017 category.
2018 marked a new chapter of Kursim's as he joins newly-formed Don't Touch Racing outfit, swapping Mercedes-Benz for IVECO machinery. He won one race and ended up ranked eighth in the standings, one place better than the year before.
